2010 NFL Mock Draft – Round 2
2010 NFL Mock Draft - Round 2
Our 2010 NFL Mock Draft Round 2 Predictions
33. St. Louis Rams
Vlad Ducasse, OT, UMass
Hulking guy capable of replacing the now long-gone Orlando Pace. Huge upside, but still pretty raw.
34. Detroit Lions
Jahvid Best, RB, Cal
Best is a great prospect that has some injury issues that are hopefully behind him. Should help AP shoulder the load, but needs to work on pass-protection.
Other options: WR, QB
35. Tampa Bay Bucs
Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Phyical specimen that has decent technique, but could improve by leaps and bounds.
36. Kansas City Chiefs
Chris Cook, CB/S, Virginia
Great size for a DB that is athletic enough to play both CB and S. Could play either right away for the Chiefs.
37. Philadelphia Eagles (WAS)
Jerry Hughes, OLB, TCU
Hughes promises to be a great pass-rushing option at OLB that has the ability to put his hand down and rush in the 4-3 as well. Lots of athleticism, but is still a raw defender..
38. Cleveland Browns
Everson Griffen, DE, USC
Dynamic playmaker that should thrive in a very structured system. Has the size/speed set necessary to play 3-4 OLB, 3-4 DE, and 4-3 DE.
39. Oakland Raiders
Perrish Cox, CB, Oklahoma State
Off-field issues hide a very talented corner with good physicality and coverage skills. Good fit for the Raiders.
40. San Diego Chargers
Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
The Chargers need a big, bruising back. ADD fiasco or no, Dwyer is their guy.
41. Buffalo Bills
Tim Tebow, QB, Florida.
The Bills seem poised to pick up the former Gator and try and make him an NFL QB. We've seen weirder things work.
42. Tampa Bay (CHI)
Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
The Bucs always need some additional playmakers on the DL. Dunlap has all the skills to develop into that guy.
43. Denver Broncos (MIA)
Kareem Jackson, CB, Alabama
Fast-rising prospect that shows all the traits that Baltimore looks for. With Anquan Boldin in the fold, the Ravens can concentrate on their defense.
44. New England (JAX)
Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
Tate's routes are the only thing holding him back from being a #1 WR in the NFL. Brady would love to see this guy picked.
45. Denver Broncos
Jason Worilds, DE, Virginia Tech
Very talented when used in the right system. Could have some injury issues that push him down the board.
46. NY Giants
Brian Price, DL, UCLA
The Giants try to collect these athletic DE's that can set the edge and get after the passer. Price is a great 3-technique prospect, that could transform to a 5-technique.
47. New England (TEN)
Tyson Alualu, Cal, DE
Alualu is a quick, athletic lineman that would fit in well with the Patriots team. He can shift to DT in a sub-package as well.
48. Carolina Panthers
Ricky Sapp, DE, Clemson
Explosive pass-rusher that could help his stock by getting a bit stronger. Very quick first step.
49. San Francisco 49ers
Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern
Wootten has 1st round ability at the d-line position and the versatility to play both 3-4 and 4-3 DE.
50. Kansas City Chiefs (ATL)
Rob Gronkowski, TE, Arizona
When healthy, this Wildcat is able to get open at will and rack up yardage. Good blocker as well. Back is definitely a concern.
51. Houston Texans
Navorro Bowman, OLB, Penn State
Bowman's legal trouble is a bit disconcerting, but his ability to fly around and make plays is tough to pass up.
52. Pittsburgh Steelers
Nate Allen, S, USF
Smart player with a great feel for the game. Will instantly help with recognition and communication problems in the defensive backfield.
53. New England Patriots
Jon Asamoah, OG, Illinois
Asamoah is a talented guard that would be able to start on day one for the Patriots, giving the Patriots some much needed long-term security at the position.
54. Cinci Bengals
Montario Hardesty, RB, Tennessee
Great RB prospect that can do it all: run, pass, and block. Has incredibly sure hands, although injuries are a concern.
55. Green Bay Packers
Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida
Great receiving ability and a knack for getting lost from defenders. Can throw a block or two.
56. Philadelphia Eagles
Chad Jones, S, LSU
The Eagles get a very athletic safety that is a true center-fielder. Commitment questions are an issue though.
57. Baltimore Ravens
Damian Williams, WR, USC
Incredibly crisp route-runner with solid hands that will instantly become Joe Flacco's comfort blanket.
58. Arizona Cardinals
Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
McCoy is just about right to give the other QB's some competition. He just wins ball games.
59. Dallas Cowboys
Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech
With Ken Hamlin gone, the Cowboys need some help in the secondary. Burnett is just the guy to help them out.
60. Seattle Seahawks
Alex Carrington, DE, Arkansas State
Ideal 5-Tech player that has a quick first step to aid in pass rush. Has the strength to stay stout against the run.
61. NY Jets
Andre Roberts, WR, Citadel
Great route-runner and fearless over the middle. Roberts is arguably the most complete and clean WR prospect this year. Holmes and Edwards are not guys you can count on.
62. Minnesota Vikings
Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida
Concerns about speed will lower Spikes' stock, but his instincts make up for much of what he lacks in raw speed. Great tackler.
63. Indianapolis Colts
Daryl Washington, LB, TCU
Versatile LB that showed at the Senior Bowl that his size shouldn't be a cause for concern. Washington could be scary good. The Colts have a lot of potential holes across their LB corps.
64. New Orleans Saints
Jared Veldheer, OL, Hillsdale
Mammoth lineman that has scouts scrambling for tape. Could play tackle or guard for the Saints.
